Blessings Upon Blessings!!!

People have been so generous in sending blessings for Hannah's Book and I wanted to share the latest additions with you. (Unfortunately my scanner was out of order for over 8 months so some of these are l-o-n-g overdue. Sorry friends!) Without further adieu I want to share with you the scrapbook pages that people have made for Hannah's Blessings Book.

I met this precious family the week they received their referral! Even though we haven't seen one another for almost 2 years we still keep touch via email and it's fun to watch their family growing up.

The Brown family recently returned from China with their wonderful son Kai! It was quite the journey home but God has blessed them over and over again and Kai is doing really well and I'm sure his 4 big sisters are enjoying having a little brother to love.


Blessing #50 from my coworker MaryAnne
MaryAnne and I have worked together for many years and she's a great friend! As you can see she knows my love for Disney and incorporated that in her fun layout. She cross-stitched the picture of Minnie and it will be fun to add pictures of Hannah in the spots she left. Thanks MaryAnne!!



Blessing #51 from Wela, Pat of California
Wela is Mary-Mia's Mom and she quickly became a special friend during my visit in January! Looking forward to seeing you again soon Wela! Is it July yet? Love ya!

Blessings for Hannah!

3 friends have sent blessings for Hannah's book and I want to share these with you!

My friend Michelle who is also a waiting mommy, made this beautiful blessing for Hannah! I love how she included mommy's love of piano and music in her blessing. Thanks Michelle!


The next blessing is from a wonderful friend who is also my scrapbooking buddy! Tina and I have been friends for many years and even though we may not get together often we sure do enjoy ourselves when we do. Thank you so much Tina for this beautiful blessing for Hannah!


The last of today's blessings was a fun surprise to receive today! It's from a gal I've gotten to know through my March DTC Yahoo Group. It's such a fun, bright colour and encompasses so many wonderful areas of my life and what I want to share with Hannah someday! Thanks Beth!


The really neat thing is that when I began Hannah's Blessings Book I wasn't sure how many pages I would receive as I understand it requires more work that a 100 Good Wishes Quilt piece. I have been wonderfully surprised by the outpouring of love Hannah has received! She now has 45 pages in her book! Wow!!! If you'd like to see them all you can click here to view them!

The other part is that with the exception of 2 of the blessings, all are from friends. Hmmmm...that means only 2 are from family!

A Blessing for Hannah

What fun it was to receive this beautiful blessing for Hannah's Blessings Book today. It was made by my new friend Liz. It's absolutely precious but you know the most exciting thing? Liz leaves tomorrow (which is almost today as it's 11:30pm!) to travel and meet her sweet Ava! How wonderful is that?!!!

Have a great trip Liz. Praying for you and Ava. Looking forward to meeting our sweet new neighbour. Yeah!!

Beautiful Blessings for Hannah

Wanted to share more of the blessings that have been so carefully and beautifully created for Hannah's Blessings Book. Each one a gift of love!

This first blessing was sent by my friend Lee-Anne in Australia! G'day Lee-Anne! I love that she included a picture of her beautiful family. Her LID is one month + 1 day ahead of me so she will be traveling a month or 2 before me to meet her precious daughter. Thank you Lee-Anne!


This next blessing was made by my wonderful 'Motor City Mama Meet-up' friend Krista! She gave it to me at our meet-up in November but sadly it's taken me this long to catch up on my blessings book posts. (Really need to stay on top of these! Between Hannah's Blessings book, friends with 100 Good Wishes Quilts, Tag Toys, and Tracking Referral Stats I'm quickly mastering the art of spreadsheet organization 101! Too bad my posting organizational skills aren't as current.) Anyway, Thank you Krista for this beautiful blessing! I absolutely love the fabric you've chosen for Mia's room and the fact that you used some for Hannah's blessing makes this extra special.


This precious blessing is from Norma who is a fellow Canadian gal who's dossier was recently sent to China. Congratulations Norma and thank you for the beautiful blessing!


These last 2 pages were made by fellow adoptive Mom Trish. She and I had the great privilege of meeting in person in December and she gave me these blessings at that time. Thank you Trish! I look forward to getting together again.
