Hannah loves singing in the kids choir at church even though she gets quite nervous before they sing on stage. I love to watch my girl sing praises to our Lord and King!!
The kids first sing one song during the 2 morning services
and then in the evening the children present an entire musical. They work on this each Sunday evening for a number of months and their hard work sure pays off. Great job Hannah!!
Hannah has been singing with the children’s choir at our church for a couple of years now and she really enjoys it! I can’t explain the feeling that comes over me when I look up and see MY daughter singing and praising the Lord! I still have ‘pinch me’ moments and seeing her sing from her heart is another one of those moments!
Thank you Auntie Japhia for leading Hannah and the other children so well and helping them fall more and more in love with Jesus!
Each Sunday evening Hannah goes to the children’s choir at our church while I attend a small group Bible study. At first it was a little tough to give up our Sunday evenings together but we soon connected with the people in choir and the small group and now look forward to this time! Hannah enjoys the choir and we also take one of her little friends that she attended JK and SK with so it’s neat to keep up that friendship now that they go to different schools. I am finding the connection of a small group to be wonderful and not only are the adults learning, growing and getting to know one another but the kids are too. When we’re all together at a social there are over 40 of us and we have a blast together! So thankful for these friendships that are growing for both of us.
The children recently presented their spring musical and it was such a treat to watch and hear Hannah sing! She was nervous beforehand but I could tell by her face that she was really enjoying herself!
As summer draws near we’re enjoying our quieter Sunday evenings but it will be great to get back to children’s choir and small group in the fall.
Hannah joined the children’s choir at our church for kids in SK through Grade 2, in January. She was a little hesitant that first night but after a warm welcome by the leaders and a special evening of fun, she came out happy and asked when she could go back again! Week after week she was excited to go to choir while I went to a small group elsewhere in the church. It was fun to drop off her off as she’d run into the room and then bounce out when it was over, excited to tell me about her evening! Some of the songs that were to be part of the musical she kept to herself and others I’d hear her singing through our house. I tell you, there is nothing better than hearing your child sing praise and worship songs as she goes throughout her day!
Friday evening was their dress rehearsal and they began it with prayer. Oh how this warms my heart!
Today was the culmination of months of hard work and Hannah did so well!! The kids started off the day by singing at the morning services.
Tonight was the musical, ‘Back to the Cross’ where the 2 kids choirs numbering around 100 children sang their little hearts out!
Hannah’s teacher came to hear her sing as did one of her little friends. Hannah was so excited to have them there!
A fun celebration wearing her silly straw glasses after an amazing evening of singing praises to our Lord!
You did so well Hannah! Mommy loves to see and hear you sing!!
Single Mommy to the most amazing baby girl in the entire world! We were blessed to be brought together through the miracle of adoption. My file was logged in China on March 23, 2006 and life changed forever in a wonderful, amazing way when Hannah was placed in my arms in Hunan, China on Monday, November 2, 2009!!! This site is created to welcome family and friends to follow along with our family's fun and adventures.
