Almost daily Hannah takes a look at her left hand and exclaims with great anguish, ‘Mommy, Bo-bo!’ Then emphatically adds, ‘Grandma’s house!’ Her bo-bo often requires kisses to make it feel better and it’s not unusual for her to be sporting a Princess band-aid over it.
Sometimes I kiss it better and other times Hannah takes care of it herself. Here she is this morning giving it a little kiss.
You may be wondering why I find a bo-bo to so humorous as to give it a blog post of it’s own? Well, here is bo-bo for all the world to see!
Yes, it’s a freckle! Heh….I have no idea why she relates this freckle to Grandma’s house but it does make me laugh when she comes running for me to kiss it better. This has been going on for months now and when I drop Hannah off at Ange’s house for daycare and she’s wearing a Princess band-aid on her left hand, Ange looks at me with a twinkle in her eye and says, ‘Uh oh! The freckle bo-bo?’ :o)
To which Hannah exclaims with great sadness, ‘Yes! Fwekle bo-bo!’
Catherine, I cannot get over how much she has changed and grown up. It has been a long time since I have popped over..... She is BEAUIFUL!!
ReplyDeleteLOL at Bo-Bo.... so cute that tiny little freckle:)

I feel ya! D had a bobo on her leg. WEEKS ago and I still hear about all the time. In fact, she saw the bandaids and absolutely had to have one.
ReplyDeleteThey are silly little ducks!
Keep smilin!
That's hilarious!
ReplyDeleteVery cute and funny.
ReplyDeleteMaisie will come and ask for placebos because she'll tell me that she's suffering hypochondria. I'm just waiting for her to figure it all out and "get me" back!
That's not a boo boo....That's an angel kiss that she got while she was sleeping. Cady's been kissed by many angels through the years.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe she got a fweckle bobo on grandma's watch!!! Oh the outrage. What is going on over at that house?!
ReplyDeleteHee!
Poor Grandma must be heartbroken that her little princess got a bo-bo while on her watch ;-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute freckle bo-bo!
That is too funny. She must have discovered it at her grandma's house.
ReplyDeleteHee hee. That's too funny. I think kids just love band-aids! Funny how nobody gets hurt when we're out of band-aids! :)
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love that mommy can make it all better?
ReplyDeleteRuby
That is so sweet!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhenever Z is in trouble he will look at me, point to his hand with the scar and with a worried look on his face he will say boo-boo. It's so hard to keep a straight face. Other times out of the blue he will stop what he is doing and say boo-boo. I have a feeling that area on his hand is still numb from the surgery and that is what makes him think of it! :o)
