I'm sorry but there is just something so wrong about shopping in August and the music in the store has the word 'Christmas' in it! I couldn't believe my ears and stopped dead in my tracks (not easy to do when there is shopping to be done) but I had to listen carefully to see if I'd heard what I thought I had. Yup....the song was Joni Mitchell's 'I Wish I Had a River' and sure enough it was talking about Christmas and skating. Ugh!!! I absolutely love Christmas...but not in AUGUST!

Now That's Just Wrong!

I guess the stores are desperate to get us into the Christmas shopping mood even earlier this year. Ugh!

I love that song. Many years ago, Don Henley did a version of it, it's just amazing. I must admit my iPod has Chris Rea's "Driving Home for Christmas" on it... it's really upbeat and I love it and I just change the "Christmas" part through the year as I sing along!lol

Hmnn, well I spent the afternoon with my residents, making Christmas Cards for our November Bazaar...there were even a few Christmas Carols heard in our craft room today...Yikes!!!!!!

Char and I went to Prince last night just to do a quick grocery shop and we were SOOOO surprised to see all the Christmas trees and decorations all set up at Costco already!!!
