these things are familiar to you. Sit back, relax and enjoy! What great (and sometimes embarassing) memories!
My favourite memories of the 70's are: Grease (the first 'real' movie I remember seeing), watching The Brady Bunch, and 'Angel's Wing' jeans.
What are yours?

Oh Catherine - that was fun!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely every one of them except two:
1) hated Star Wars
2) the Dukes were too redneck for me ;0)
How funny.
Even though I wasn't even born till '75 I still remember nearly all those things!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the flashbacks!!
Miss you like crazy already!!!!
OK, you were looking through my bedroom window, eh?!!! There were quite a few I didn't know about but these, made me laugh:
ReplyDelete1. Olivia Newton Johns "Lets get Physical"- we used to do our school workout to it!!!
2. Judy Blume - God bless that woman!
3. Yes, I did wear a "Laura Ingalls" inspired shirt in a school photo!!!
I had the Grease album (loved it) and my sister left it in front of the heater and it warped - THAT was a sad day!!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't see it, but I was more of an 80's girl. Leg warmers, BIG hair, Mickey Mouse Aerobics in school.....
ReplyDeleteThe Partridge Family, Bay City Rollers (that was my plaid phase), and my attempt at the Farrah hairdo. And I can't forget the way my bellbottoms would freeze wide at the cuffs when they got wet in the winter :o)
ReplyDeleteLots of fun. I remember Star Wars action figures and I used to enjoy watching Little House with my grandmother. Nice to go down memory lane. Thanks. Have to say I hated the clothes back then-I never was a plaid girl... and was more an 80's girl, but then some of the clothes from then were scary too. Thanks again. Diana in Edmonton
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh what a walk down memory lane. I can almost smell the Loves Baby Soft and I was totally in love with Leif Garrett. Ah I rmember it well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great laugh.
Dorothy Hamill haircuts
ReplyDeleteLittle House on the Prairie
Tube socks!
Candies pumps, I had the Dorthy Hammill do and I remember being Princess Leah for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, the ever-so-flattering Dorothy Hamill haircut, I remember it well... (shudder)
ReplyDeleteI complemented it with my Ditto jeans - did you have those? They came in a rainbow of colors, including my favorite, red. Ah those were the days.
That's great!
ReplyDeleteOh...I loved the Brady Bunch!
