All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!
Fast forward to today....just 4 days later and check out the changes!!! My sweet baby girl is sitting so much taller and stronger. Her little neck is stronger and look at her play with the toys!
Truly it is an amazing transformation to watch these beautiful little ones grow and change and learn before my very eyes!! So cool to see it in person after reading other's stories but most amazing is to see the changes in my own precious daughter!!!
Wow! Huge change! It's all the TLC she's getting from her mamma! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs!!

P.S. Love the gummy smile!
That is amazing!! It doesn't seem possible in only four days!
ReplyDeleteShe is so beautiful :o)
So incredible to see the changes that have occurred in such a short period of time!
ReplyDeleteAmazing what a whole lot of LOVE can do. She is so so sweet Catherine. I LOVED the Grandparent pix best. Pix to cherish for sure! Keep those pix coming!
ReplyDeleteWith each day and every picture you can see her so much more relaxed and happy! As a grandparent, I was so thrilled to see your parents and your friend hold her for the first time. She really likes them already! She is opening up like the delicate little flower she is. So very precious ---
ReplyDeleteWow, go Hannah! I can't help but keep refreshing your blog.. The pics of Hannah and her grandparents are just TOO sweet. I would have trouble not framing just about EVERY picture you've taken of your girl!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet Cathy! She's absolutely adorable!!!! (I'm going to keep saying that over and over!) You're going to enjoy so many "firsts". Treasure them all.
ReplyDeletePS. By the way...what size is she wearing??? Just wondering after ALL the clothes we sorted together! :)
Love ya,
Joy
It is so amazing!!! I remember this very same thing with Darci. Enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Hannah! I so love the faces she makes.
ReplyDeleteSoooo cute! Wow to the difference in just a week! Brings back memories of Tate in China. Same thing, clueless as to the toys and wobbly sitting. She was 9.5 months. One week, total change.
ReplyDeleteYou look and sound soooooo happy! Hannah HAPPY!
Hugs
First off - WHAT A GREAT TOY THAT BALL IS!! hahaha
ReplyDeleteHannah is developing by leaps and bounds! It is wonderful to see.
Hello Catherine,
ReplyDeleteI have been reading your blog for months and months now and we are truely happy for you and your precious, beautiful little girl. She is so lucky to have you in her life. Wishing you a safe trip home to Canada. May god bless you and your family. Jasmin
Oh you just wait. It gets better and more amazing every day! Enjoy the journey!!!!
ReplyDeleteit's just incredible. love heals so much.
ReplyDeleteWow!! That really does bring it home to you!! Lizzie went through the same sort of transformation and it just heartbreaking and amazing all at the same time!!
ReplyDeleteShe does look like she is growing before our eyes! All the attention, movement, hugging, holding and activity shows how much babies need this instead of lying in a crib all day.
ReplyDeleteShe will be so much fun once you are home! She's a doll!

It was the same with our daughter, everything was so overwhelming for her in those first few days with us and it caused her to regress but then as she became more comfortable with us she started to do things she'd clearly been able to do for a while but had shut down as a reaction to all the scary changes taking place.
ReplyDeleteAmazing to see how quickly they change for sure.It just keeps getting better and better.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing to see Hannah almost like you're there! She's a keeper alright. Congratulations Catherine, you're life is forever changed...
ReplyDeleteLove Judy from San Jose
We love the fact that we have this wonderful opportunity to follow your journey. Thank you for your faithful postings at such an important time in your lives.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Look at how well she's doing already!
ReplyDeleteNot to discount any great parenting on your part, but often children at adoption are in such shock etc that their bodies simply shut down for a period of time ... and that as they become accustomed to their new life their bodies remember again how to sit, stand, etc ... so sometimes what seems simply amazing is just a child getting back to where they were pre-adoption, pre-traumatic episode.
ReplyDeleteThat is so amazing! So truly amazing! Wow... so awesome.
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference!!!!!! Incredible all around!!!! I am so happy for you both!
ReplyDeleteWow Catherine,
ReplyDeleteLove, attention, patience and stimulation will bring Hannah a long way. You are a great mother and it is wonderful to see her develop so rapidly. Way to go!

It is amazing how much they grow in just a couple of days. I also loved how we were the ones to see some of their big firsts.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy them.
