I cannot express how excited I am to have 4 days with Hannah! Normal day to day life gives us such a short amount of time together in the evenings and in that time I need to put supper on the table so I struggle with spending quality time with my little love.
This weekend that is not the case and I’m excited! We don’t have to wake up to an alarm which is great….especially when I have a daughter who sleeps in when given the opportunity. Yay! This morning we woke an hour later than normal and started our day with an hour of cuddling on the couch enjoying a DVD she enjoys. After that it was time to get ready for her first of 4 Easter Egg hunts this weekend. I’m already dreading the amount of chocolate that will cross our doorstep this weekend!
At 10 we went to a local farm that hosts an Easter Egg Hunt and more. We were also there last year but oye…this year the word was out! I’m sure there was at least double the amount of people if not more! It was a beautiful day even though the wind added a nip to the air.
We went with Auntie K, Uncle J, Chick and Pea
as well as my SIL Trish and Hannah’s cousin Makenna.
Our day began in the greenhouse where the kiddos decorated Easter baskets
and had their faces painted
Love you my bunny girl!
Posing in the bus cut-out.
This little video made me giggle. She could reach the strawberry but was determined to show her adorable little face through the corn. She’s a determined little mite!
We enjoyed a wagon ride out to visit the Easter Bunny.
And hunted for eggs.
Initially Hannah was a little timid about meeting the Easter Bunny but then on her own terms she decided she was okay and happily went up to say ‘Hi!’
It was a fun, wonderful morning shared with precious people. It was a great time and tuckered out my cute little bunny.
Just for fun. Flashback to the same event last Easter.
