Ugh! I'm having a bunch of trouble commenting on friend's blogs and am wondering if others are having the same trouble here? (That may be a void question if you can't post a comment telling me it's not allowing you to post a comment!)
Anyway, when I go into friend's blogs and attempt to comment I have 2 different problems.
1) The word verification box is empty with just a red X
2) When I enter the correct word I'm told it's wrong and won't accept.
Anyone else having this trouble? Any resolution suggestions bloggy friends?

ReplyDeleteI have not had the red x but often I have had to retype the word verification. It is irritating because I double check to make sure it is right. I think the word verification is super sensitive--and finicky.

No probs here...but when this has happened in the past, sometimes switching to anonymous worked.
ReplyDeleteI have the red x problem and then I just type in some jibberish and then it tells me it is wrong (obviously) and then USUALLY the second time there are actual letters in the box.
ReplyDeleteAs for saying the word is wrong when you know you typed it correctly, I just thought my eyes were going and my typing skills deteriorating and thought it was me...good to know I don't need new glasses YET!!

I do waht Michelle does...actually I am getting that Red Box right now...let's see...I clicked publish and the screen came back with a word verification. It is a pain!

This has happened to me on several friends' sites. Usually, if I log out and log back in, the problem corrects itself. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHaven't had the problem...yet. Tracy is having it too. My first fix for anything is clearing out the browser cache.
