Hannah's 1st Birthday Party!!!

Saturday, February 27, 2010 was a wonderful day of celebration from beginning to end! What fun it was to wake up and sing Happy Birthday to my precious XiaoFen!!

Hannah and I shared our normal morning time together which includes cuddles, stories, games, hugs and kisses. I love to begin each and every day this way! We normally hang out on mommy's bed for the first hour to 2 hours after we wake up just enjoying some quiet time with the two of us before the busyness of the day begins. Thankfully we had time to do this on her birthday even though we had a day full of fun ahead of us. Hannah also received 4 Birthday phone calls and enjoyed being sang to over and over again. At first she didn't quite understand the whole phone thing but by the 4th call she would listen with a big smile on her face!

We headed to my parent's place just before noon and picked up her cake on the way. Mom and Dad had the house ready when we got there so it was just a matter of putting final touches on my food and putting up the decorations. The theme for her Birthday was Baby Disney Princesses. I'm sure this doesn't surprise you in the least!!

As I was dressing Hannah in her beautiful party dress, family and friends began to arrive and we were off!

I am so thankful that everyone invited to the party who lived locally were able to attend!

LOL! As you can see, Hannah has many honourary aunties and uncles and we were so happy that each of them was able to come and share in this special day with her! People came and went as they were able and it was a great time of sharing time with precious family and friends! It was also neat for some of these people who mean so much to Hannah and I to meet one another for the very first time!

Hannah did her best to help mommy read cards and open her gifts.
