This morning's news is that all is quiet. Yes, so quiet on the referral front that you could hear a pin drop! It appears the rumour that initial packages won't begin to arrive until tomorrow is proving to be true. Hoping those packages contain referrals and that the stork makes it's way to Canada tomorrow rather than Monday!!I have another post brewing in my head so will put that up later today. Until then, praying often for Hannah and getting goose bumps thinking that somewhere in this world there is a file that holds her picture and mine, side by side....mother and daughter!!!
since you are waiting so patiently I suppose we had better learn how to too.

ReplyDeleteYes Catherine, you should know it is about us (lol)! I also laughed about this last month when we got our surprise referral. From the moment I let anyone know it had come to the time I posted her picture and info I got so many calls and emails! It is such an emotional time that sometimes we forget everyone else is excited for us!!! So, here I sit, patiently waiting for Hannah to be delivered to her MAMA!!! This whole waiting thing is for the birds! Haven't we all been patient enough?!!! Come on stork, deliver Hannah!!
ReplyDeleteA little over 6 years ago we received our daughter Grace's referral kind of as a surprise because the program had stopped due to SARS. I will never forget that day and how I felt for as long as I live...I've been thinking of you at this time. You have such a great attitude Catherine...can't wait to see her in your arms!

ReplyDeleteOh I remember the final days waiting for the news for my older daughter. I jumped every time phone rang. Second one was a surprise I was being expedited which I didn't know. Praying for the referral to come tomorrow so you don't have to spend whole weekend wondering.. Best wishes!

We just got back from Lily's riding lesson and whilst we were there a beautiful red ladybird landed on my arm. My thoughts turned to you and hannah. : )
