I'm enjoying a quiet labour day weekend although unfortunately it's a little quieter than I would prefer. Once again my internet has gone on the fritz so I'm blogging and reading emails from a friend's place. (Thanks Sharon!!) As much as I loathe the thought of all the challenges the come with changing internet providers, I don't think I have an option but to do so. When I do I'll be sure to let you know my updated email address. Until then, I'll keep working with my current provider to get my service working properly. It was supposed to take 'up to 66 hours' and that was more than 72 hours ago so I'm thinking they're not going to make it.
The 'no computer' time is good for one thing. It's giving me lots of time to finish up a long overdue project. My goal is to have the painting of my downstairs finished by the end of this week and even better - tomorrow. (Yes, yes, this is the project that I started on the March Break! Uh oh!) So far the old wallpaper is down, the taping is done and most of the priming. Tomorrow I'll finish up the priming and put at least the first coat on the walls. The first coat always takes longer as it involves all the cutting in from the edges. Painting is one of the thinks I least enjoy doing but I do like the end product.
Hope everyone's having a great Labour Day weekend! Here's to a week with referral announcements and hoping they reach beyond November 24th. Only 3 days of referrals (which is the current rumour) would just be really tough to take. Until it's official, I'm holding out hope that it will be later than the 24th.

A suggestion that you get a free account, such as gmail.com, so that it doesn't matter which provider you have in the future?
