Visit with Santa 2013

Hannah was excited when she found out she was going to visit Santa last night!!  For weeks she’s had fun circling gift ideas in wish books, browsing through the toy area at stores, taking pictures of things she would like for Christmas and even drawing pictures for Santa.  When she found out that she was actually going to see him she was a cute combination of over-the-top excited and shy all at the same time.  She suddenly wasn’t too sure she actually wanted to talk to the Jolly Old Man himself or just mail her letter to him.  After a little encouragement she was ready to go so we stopped at the house to get her changed and tidy her hair after a day of play at school.

Nana found this adorable dress for her when we were in FL and we both knew it was perfect for Hannah!IMG_1635

After this quick photo shoot t home awe headed to the mall to visit Santa!  Hannah was so excited although kept changing her mind about what she would tell him she wanted for Christmas.  Hannah and Santa Dec 2, 2013 4.5yo - New

In the end it didn’t really matter as she was too shy to say much to him but Santa did a great job of asking her questions until they found something she would like.  She loves stuffed animals right now so he was right with her when he suggested a new stuffed animal!

  1. Love the new Christmas dress. It's hard to believe that it's December already. It seemed a little too early to visit Santa in November and now Christmas is just 3 weeks away. We always plan a visit to see Santa on the PA day that we share with my sister's children, but there is usually a super crazy line-up to see him, so we may plan an earlier visit. Did you take the video of Hannah's visit with Santa or is that part of the package at your mall?

Looking forward to our visit next week. Charlotte is super excited to be hosting the gathering.

    Take care, dear friend,
    Debbie

  3. I love these pictures! And that dress?! I like it as much as I do the pjs with the peppermints! :) So, if Santa is looking for some gift ideas in the stuffed animal department, I've heard talking Lambie or talking Stuffy from Doc McStuffins are good choices. :)

  4. I'm surprised Hannah said she didn't want a doll. Every 4yo I know wants more dolls. I guess she has loads. What's her favorite stuffy?

    1. Hannah has a few dolls but not many. She's really more stuffed animal kiddo right now but I'm guessing the doll phase is coming.

Her current favorite stuffy e is a little pink unicorn but it changes on a regular basis!

    1. You're right Paula! Hannah is growing, growing, growing! She is 43 1/2 inches tall which puts her in the 84th percentile for little girls her age. She is one of the tallest little girls in her class even though half of the class is a year ahead of her in school. It's those beautiful long legs. It makes it a bit of a challenge to dress her but with all the adjustable waist pants we're doing fine. :o)
