This year I can share with you the words from the second verse and oh how sweet it is!!!
It's Christmas time again and now you're home!
Your family is here and now you will never be alone!
So tonight before you go to sleep I'll hold you in my arms,
I'll tell you from my heart,
And I'll tell you from my heart
I wish you Merry Christmas!
Your family is here and now you will never be alone!
So tonight before you go to sleep I'll hold you in my arms,
I'll tell you from my heart,
And I'll tell you from my heart
I wish you Merry Christmas!
This year I woke to this most precious little girl and was able to wish her Merry Christmas!!!
I cannot begin to express to you the overwhelming joy that filled my heart as I gazed at the beautiful face of my sleeping angel and whispered 'Merry Christmas XiaoFen. Mommy loves you!' into her ear!
'Thank you Lord for entrusting your precious child into my care. My heart cannot contain the love I have for her! Thank you seems so insufficient for a gift so great! So today, as we celebrate the birth of Your Son, I also thank you for the gift of my daughter!'
What a beautiful, heartwarming, perfect Christmas post for your precious angel, Hannah XiaoFen. Wishing you both much happiness in the new year.
ReplyDeleteAnother heartfelt blog, thank you Catherine. It amazes me how the love you have for Hannah, shows so much and pours right out of your heart, and you continue to give God the praise for it all. Yes He gave you the most precious gift ever, "your daughter". Please keep your posts coming, i enjoy hearing all about your time with Hannah. God bless your family.

ReplyDeleteIt's amazing isn't it? I mean, people use the word "amazing" to describe a lot of things, but waking up on Christmas morning to our precious children is likely one of the most amazing experiences of our lives. We are, indeed both truly blessed.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful season of Christmas with H. We are so blessed to be given a child to love and raise. I know you will have much more happiness in 2010!

wishing you and Hannah a great 2010!
Catherine--you do not know me but I have been reading your blog for a long time. I love reading about your darling Hannah! My husband and I had two sons. I so wanted a daughter and in late 1993 we decided we wanted to try to adopt a girl from China. Sad to say--my husband died at the age of 38 less than two months later. I now after all these years enjoy reading about others who have adopted little girls from China and one of my favorites is yours! My sons are now 31 and 32 by the way! Wishing you and Hannah a wonderful, happy and healthy 2106 and thank you for making this public so others can share in your joy! God bless you both! Susan Meade, Honesdale, Pennsylvania!
