After leaving the CNY party M3, Ro, Ree and I headed to beautiful Pebble Beach and drove around the infamous 17 Mile Drive. I cannot begin to put into words what a treat this was and the beauty displayed there! Once again God's amazing beauty, handiwork and strength is displayed here! Oh how I love to enjoy His creation!!
Throughout our drive the girls (big and little) were chatting about 'Road Trip Food.' They seemed quite excited about it and were a little bummed that we didn't have it with us as we hadn't really planned on this little trip. So, part way through our travels we hit a little store and oh my were my eyes opened! Now I understand the excitement of Road Trip Food and why it's so important! It's like a wonderful little smorgasbord of all things salty, chewy and chocolaty. I just kept laughing as the girls wandered about the little store and gathered our stash. Oh yes, they had done this before and were great teachers! In the end our treats consisted of: potato chips, cheese popcorn, animal crackers, chocolate kisses, beef jerky, mint Milano cookies, caramel corn, cheese sticks, red vines and last but not least...coffee! Oh baby! Do these girls know how to do Road Trip Food or what?!! I just kept asking where our road trip was going to be today as I lurve me some good ole munchies! After our 'little snack' *grin!* we headed to the beach. Even though it was chilly and quite windy the girls were in their glory and enjoyed playing with the rocks and building castles in the sand.
Ro Ree The sunset we saw at the end of our first full day together was beautiful...just like the time we'd spent together!
