Warning! Blogging Can Be Hazardous to Your Wallet! :o)

After work Wednesday evening I popped onto the computer to catch up on some of my blog reading and bipped in to visit, Donna's blog. Little did I know at the time that I would find the nursery furniture I'd been looking for! I didn't really know what I was looking for, I just knew I'd know it when I saw it and that's exactly what happened!

Isn't it BEAUTIFUL???

I saw the armoire that Donna's husband had recently put together for their soon-to-be daughter, Lauren Elizabeth, and commented about it on her blog. She emailed me that night with information as to where'd they'd bought it so I checked it out.

It's at Kmart, and on sale this week! The prices are fabulous! I'll be able to purchase the dresser/changing table, crib/day bed and glider rocker + ottoman all for $320US! With the strong Canadian dollar that's the best price by far I've seen for anything and I haven't liked anything nearly this much! Too cool! 1 more 'God thing' to add to the growing list of exciting events that are happening with the adoption of Hannah.

At lunch yesterday I called the nearest Kmart which is 2 hours away in Niagara Falls, NY. They had all 3 pieces in stock but could not put it on hold until the day I was going to purchase it. After finding out it was in stock, the arrangements all fell into place:

1) Dad's van was available and Mom was able to drop it off to me at work today. (When Mom dropped of the van she also gave me a card addressed to Hannah and I. In it was a gift from Grandma and Grandpa to help out with the new furniture. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!)
2) I had no plans on Friday night and my friend Carol was available to come with me. Road trip!!! (There's an outlet mall across from Kmart. Oh yah!)
3) Called this morning and all 3 pieces are still in stock and now on hold.

So, in just a few minutes, Carol and I are off on our adventure. Should be fun...once we get through Friday night rush hour traffic in Toronto. Oh well, more time to talk, laugh and have a good time.

Psssttt...Guess what? Tonigh when I go to sleep there will be a crib in my home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yup...just a little excited!
