Disney 2012–Day 2, Part 2–Magic Kingdom

After a morning of character fun it was time to hit some rides.  Hannah loves driving the cars at the Tomorrowland Speedway so we headed there first.  Check out that smile!

Buzz Lightyear.  It’s great that this year the ride cameras finally capture Hannah.  Last year she was so tiny that she was always hidden by the rides.  She had the most fun spinning us around on this ride.  Good thing neither of us mind spinney rides!IMG_7160
More character fun.  Meeting Space Cadets Chip and Dale.IMG_7168
With the temperatures well into the 90’s a run at the splash pad was a welcome relief from the heat – for kids and adults alike.

A picture that needs no explanation.  I must confess that walking down Main Street still causes me to get goose bumps and tears to flood my eyes.  We’re here!  My DAUGHTER and I are here!!!  I never want to tire of this feeling nor take for granted for a single second the miracle that God allows me to be Hannah’s mom!!!IMG_7194
Fairy Fun.  Meeting RosettaIMG_7199
and TinkerbellIMG_7204
All I can say to those of you who know me.  I think I may have met my talking match in Tinkerbell!
And I’ll end our day with a quick walk down memory lane.  Riding the monorail.

  2. Hi Princess Hannah
Sounds like you are having a blast at Disney. I might be going to Disneyland in California in Jan. sometime, can\t wait.

My name is Jenna. You are a special miracle from god, a gift from above, earthly angel, and a beautiful princess.

I was born with a rare life threatening disease, and have 14 other medical conditions, and developmental delays.

    I wrote this poem
    Each of us are Special
    Each of us different,
    No one is the same
Each of are us are unique in our own way,
Those of us who have challenges, we smile through our day.
Those who of us who have challenges, we smile through our day.
It doesn't matter what others say
    we are special anyway.

  3. Hi Catherine and Hannah! I am just LOVING your WDW posts - you both look like you are having the time of your lives! Looking at your pictures and videos just puts a huge smile on my face! What amazing memories you two are creating together with your annual Disney trips (from another huge Disney fan!). Looking forward to seeing more pics, and continue having such a great holiday!

  4. Oh my goodness, you are so lucky and so blessed. Oh how I long to take my daughter to Disneyland. Hopefully it is before I need a walker! Enjoy the rest of the week.

  7. Wow! I wish I had some of Tinkerbell's energy. Is she this upbeat with every child? Oh, to be young again and have the job of your life--wouldn't it be fabulous to work at the most magical place in the world...if only for a day?

When I have visited Disney World (first as a young and then a little more mature adult), I felt like a child again--what a fabulous feeling a theme park can create. I can hardly wait to see Disney through Charlotte's eyes. I'd love to chat with you again about all the deals and what to do when--is it possible to do Disney inexpensively? I've never stayed right in the park--what an adventure that would be in itself. Oh my gosh...I can almost see myself there right now, so I better stop talking about it.

Looking forward to more postings about your adventures. Will you be dining with the princesses this time? It's such a wonderful experience.
