What fun it is to share the great news of Hannah with those around me! CHFI has asked me to keep in touch with them and let them know how things are moving ahead with meeting Hannah. What fun it will be to do that!!
We taped this follow-up interview bright at early the morning of Monday, August 31st at 6:35am and then they played it right before the 8:00am news. Sharon and I were up north at her trailer which was an extra challenge as my cell phone doesn't work too well there but my friend Deb let me use her cottage with a landline and it was all good! Thanks Deb!
I have listened to CHFI for years now and it's really neat to have them taking an interest in our story too!
So many people are excited about my sweet baby girl and I CANNOT WAIT to hold her in my arms!! She is in my heart and has me wrapped around her little finger already and soon I will also be holding her close, loving her in person!! Now that it's September I can say, 'NEXT MONTH Hannah and I will meet in person and forever be Mother and Daughter!!'
That was awesome! Thanks for sharing the radio. Everyone is excited right along with you. From you Kentucky Friend. Linda
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful! Thank you for sharing. It's also nice to have a voice with your face :-)
ReplyDeleteYou sound very cool and collected on there. You should go into radio!
ReplyDeleteVery fun, you did great and oh so calm!
ReplyDeleteStill waiting on you to post her stats!!! Is she a peanut?
ReplyDeleteAww, what a memory to share with Hannah! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the song they played for this one too, ..."all I need is a miracle, all I need is YOU"...
Bring on TA and Miss Hannah! :)
Jill xx
PS - So glad you're going to China in October. Like us, you'll be going to Beijing for the Canadaian Embassy stuff and let me tell you, in December it was FREEZING! (...and you know us Canadians, we know what cold is like!), but this was a different cold, especially at the great wall, it was so so cold. Our Lilah was a southern girl too and I'm sure she couldn't have seen us far enough at that stage! :) Can't wait to follow your journey to China now.
That is SO COOL!!! How cool to have that as yet another keep sake to document your wait for your sweet baby girl!!!
ReplyDeleteSo excited!!!!!!!!!!
Catherine that is SO cool! I was on the Mark and Brian radio show the day I was to have Jacob so I know how cool that experience was for you. Hannah will love to listen to her mama on the radio!
ReplyDeleteThat is SO COOL!! And dang, you are one seriously well-spoken chickie.
ReplyDeleteYou're turning into quite the radio star!!
ReplyDeleteYou speak so well - perhaps their is a career change in your future!
That was so amazing!!! You sounded so great on the radio.
ReplyDeleteWOW... how cool is this?? And one day you'll get to share this with your Hannah!! Just awesome.
ReplyDeleteThat just brought a huge smile to my face. I really enjoyed listening to you... though I WAS hoping for more of an accent. I should have known better, though... my best friend is from the GTA. No accent to speak of there, either. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! I'm glad someone was in the media for good reasons regarding adoption.
ReplyDeleteYou are so articulate and have such a lovely voice! I couldn't stop smiling. SOOOO cool!! =)
ReplyDeleteThat was really cool - so fun that you have that documented. You could be a radio personality. But what's up with the way you folks say "pro-cess"? ; )
ReplyDeleteOh How COOL!!!!! I was bumbed that I couldn't hear it the other morning.
ReplyDeleteYou're famous my friend!!! You spoke so well!! I would have stumbled through that for sure.
I love the pictures and post of you seeing Hannah's picture. What a moment ~ What a glorious, special moment!!!
Thank you for the extra sweet comment today. :o)
Hugs!!!
Very cool! It is wonderful that you shared your story with so many.
ReplyDeleteKeep smilin!
Hey, I finally listened to the broadcast. Some observations:
ReplyDelete1) first, you sound like you are from Ohio!
2) Until, you said "Pro-Sess"
3) Uhhh, psst, don't tell anyone but I think they misspelled "favorite" on their web site.
heh
