These posts are long overdue but I’m finally getting my feet back under myself after the busy Christmas season, Grandma’s promotion to heaven and our Disney Trip.
In a nutshell our Disney trip last week was, ‘Practically Perfect in Every Way!!’ Honestly, if I had dreamed of the perfect trip, this trip would have surpassed it! Everything went as clockwork, our flights were smooth and on time (critical in a quick 4 day trip), the weather beautiful, Disney was well...DISNEY and the girls were AMAZING!!!
Here’s just 1 quick pic of the girls with Mary Poppins who made the saying above famous. You can imagine the delight on the girl’s faces as we were walking along the closed streets of Epcot on our way to breakfast with the Princess when Mary Poppins walked out from behind a building mere feet in front of us! The fun and delight had just begun!

ReplyDeleteOh MY, I am jealous! Mary Friggin Poppins! I just love her. Believe it or not, I had a Mary Poppins hat when I was a little girl and i wore it to church!! LOL

ReplyDeleteAhhh... I DREAM OF DISNEY! I really hope the HK Disney is just as good. A friend who's been to them all says USA definitely has the "big" best rides... good thing we're not that worried about big rides!!!

Looks like you did have a perfect time! We are hoping to take Sophie there next year to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Now that would make for a perfect holiday!

Sounds like a wonderful time. I was totally disillusioned when I was about 7 years old and I found out that Maria von Trapp and Mary Poppins were the same person .... Im still in a state of confusion.

ReplyDeleteAbout six years ago Shawn and I went to Disneyland in California. I never got the chance to go as a kid so I was really excited to go. When we got there, I felt like a little kid again. I kept telling Shawn how excited I was to be there. He didn't get it because he went as a kid but he got a kick out of watching me go crazy.
